Good afternoon
The good news is that we have been contacted by Horwich and Turton and we can resume sessions from 2nd Dec. The bad news is this is a long email with lots of important information, please read to the end.
As before you will need to register on the relevant link for your chosen session. The sessions start on Wednesday at Turton. We have also included Saturday afternoon at Horwich which was due to start before lockdown#2.
Level X
Level X which we were going to hold on Saturday afternoons will now be held in the new year. Those already registered for that event will be notified when we can resume it.
Attending the pools
The guidance is still in place for the pools meaning that there are no spectators at Turton or Horwich, come ready to swim, name everything and make sure you don’t leave it Adults must wear a mask in the reception area when paying at Horwich. Please come to the door when picking up your swimmer. The car parks are dark and it is more than likely to be raining!!
Christmas
We will be closing for Christmas and the provisional dates are;- last session on 21st Dec then returning on 4th January.
Membership
Swim England have frozen membership prices for 2021 and we have done the same. We know that competitive swimming is limited at the moment but we feel that licenced galas will be brought back as soon as it is safe to do so. The club membership that you pay covers insurance to swim at club and any events we hold, affiliation to Lancashire County, affiliation to Bolton and Manchester and district associations, Arena league and club admin and incidentals such as the website and charges from the online payment system.
When paying for membership there is a discount for paying before 31st January and also family discounts. These discounts will automatically be applied. All memberships need to be paid by 15th February 2021. When registering more than one family member at the payment page click on ‘register another swimmer’ which will take you to the starting page again. Complete for the next member of the family until all have been added. Then checkout.
